Zazen Day

Sat, July 20th 9am – 6pm
This retreat is for those who want to experience, commit to, and strengthen their practice.
We will be hosting a daylong period of meditation from 9:00 AM till 6 PM.at Sweet Water Zen Center. This daylong silent practice will provide us with a deep experience of uninterrupted meditation. We will do sitting meditation (Zazen), walking meditation, and a Dharma talk.

Private interview with Sensei Shinzan will also be available. This daylong mediation period is a great opportunity to become familiar with Zen meditation and form. Additionally, it will provide a glimpse of an intensive mediation retreat, better known as “Sesshin.”

Retreat Fees: Sliding Scale $25 to $50. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please inquire with organizer during registration.

Meals: Vegetarian meals are provided (If you have a restrict diet, you are welcome to bring your own food)
